Many of you know about Brett Eldridge and his posts here about photogammetry and mapping/discovering new wrecks in our SoCal waters. Brett's agreed to be our kick-off speaker for the Reef Seekers monthly on-line talk known as Zoom Seekers and we hope some/many of you can join us this Tuesday for Brett's informative and fascinating talk.
We're starting off Zoom Seekers 2023 (our third season) with what should be a really interesting and unusual talk from Brett Eldridge. His passion is looking for undiscovered wrecks in our SoCal waters and he's got some special equipment that allows him to produce photo-like maps on the wrecks on the bottom. (He even found a whale fall as well.) He's going to explain what he does and how he does it, show you some examples of his work, and will also let you know about some wrecks you didn't know existed. As usual, we'll start at 7:30PM, there's no charge, everyone and anyone is welcome to join, and there will be a Q&A following the conclusion of Brett's talk. Here's the link if you'd like to join us:
