shrug. the forecast wouldn't stop me, but I wouldn't take the day off of work either... Chuck probably has a better feel for things.

I can tell you that Lobos/Carmel has been having unbelievable conditions lately (fri/sat/sun)...

.WED...NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT...STRONGER WINDS 15 TO 25 KT SOUTH OF
POINT SUR. WIND WAVES 2 TO 5 FT. NW SWELL 5 TO 7 FT AT 9 SECONDS
AND S 2 FT AT 15 SECONDS. PATCHY FOG IN THE MORNING.

Go. I'd try to get in a Pt. Lobos.

Where did you see the NNW swell? That's virtually impossible in Monterey because
it would be all in the bay.

Chuck, I love it when you talk like that ;) ...I'm trying to get out to Lobos Thursday morning.

Was wondering if it was a bit north of northwest. Anyway my buddy saw the EXPERIMENTAL CDIP Offshore Wave Height Forecast (close to storm threshold, so we thought)and decided not to bring his gear to Monterey.:smileysto
