It is sad to hear. I liked him a lot. He was so good sharing his love of diving with kids. I always felt at ease diving with him, because he always put safety ahead of profit. I will miss him too.

Very sad and thanks for letting us know. Our condolences to his family and loved ones

I was saddened to hear that this week. Tom was a great guy and i frequently send people to him in Grand Cayman. I met him a number of years ago, by accident, here in Vero Beach, Florida.

That's a bummer. Tom was my roommate when we were both working at UNEXSO on Grand Bahama. I was hoping to get out to dive with him again in the Caymans, I'm sad I missed the opportunity.

Tom went out of his way for us in 2014 to take my daughter and me out to the kittiwake on a Sunday morning just after our flight arrived and before we drove out to Compass Point.

He was a really nice guy. Never met him in person, but he was very helpful in 2004 when we were trying to get to Little Cayman a month or so after Ivan and Continental airlines kept telling us the airport in Grand Cayman was still closed. He got me phone numbers for the Cayman Airport Authority folks in charge and I sent them to the Continental operations folks with an invitation to call and confirm for themselves that it was open and they were waiting for airlines to start flying in again. Continental eventually agreed to fly us to Miami and put us on a Cayman Airways flight.
