That definitely looks like a structure dive. But I'm amazed at the quality of the wide-angle shots of your buddy. The water must have been pretty darned clear!

Saanich Inlet is a lot like Hood Canal. You don't have as much "fish 'n weeds" but there is some interesting stuff. That particular dive the bottom drops off to 60+ meters a mere 20m from the shore. There is a sudden wall then it gets dark.

That right, great spot for the new tech diver to practice deco skills, I least you don't have to spend all your time on a line during deco. Mark and I went down to the top of the second wall, the big wolf-eel is still there.
