The hat is new. It was a t-shirt, naui bag, and some stickers for naui's conservation program in the past.

If they're changing things, maybe they'll upgrade that old 1990s era videocamera that they use to make interlaced SD videos.... wishful thinking, I know.

I believe the camera they used for us last summer was HD. The picture I posted in the thread above was from the DVD video we bought.

No park entry anymore. I did it 2 months ago. They meet you on the right side of the gates and take you through the back way and give you a tour. Then paperwork. No pictures backstage and they do yell at you if you forget to turn the shutter sound off on your phone. And mickey does the following strip search. Mickey has biiiiiiig fingers.

You can bring your own mask, no other gear, no cameras. They take your sizes and by the time you get to the locker room everything is waiting for you in a locker. If youre warm blooded and walk with your wetsuit pulled down, they make you cover up but not zip up when you go to the aquarium. I don't usually wear a wetsuit at all, I get hot easy. All gear is ready to go at poolside, just get in, step in front of it in gear up. and they'll quick swap tanks for you as needed. Swag was a choice between Hat and tshirt. My daughter took a hat, I took a t and gave it to her so she was decked out.

Visability was unparralelled, huge wildlife concentration of course and we're in self shots all around the world. Messing around with the people on the other side of the glass was a lot of fun. It was my daughters 1st dive since check out, she loved it.

No park entry anymore. .
After the dive portion,,,,did they escort you out beyond the entrance turnstiles or release you inside the park near the living seas.?

Totally worth it. Best part was being part of the "show" for all the little kids (including my own) on the other side of the glass!

I did the Epcot dive last month. It is a nice dive experience. If you don't have park admission they escort you back to where they picked you up. If you do have park admission, they scan you ticket or magic band, and let you out on the second floor of the living seas.

They also offer a copy of the video they shoot during your dive for $35.

Definitely something I am going to do next time I am at Epcot.

Will I learn anything or improve my diving? I highly doubt it but as an experience it will probably be worth it even just for the fun of goofing about in front of the glass!

You won't learn anything about diving, unless you're never experienced being seriously overweighted. But they do a presentation about their preservation work.

And you find ound out there massive epcot ball would fit inside the tank with room to spare. I bought the vid, bnb i'll n pull some stills from it later.

I don't want to be a bummer, but I'd urge anyone considering diving there to read how the dolphins at Disney are treated. While I don't believe visitors ever get to dive with the dolphins, diving with Disney/Epcot provides support to a company who holds dolphins in captivity including a dolphin caught in the wild. :(

We werent allowed in the same area the dolphins are in, or the manatees. The dive quest goes through the day, it looks like a y thing with dolphins limited to 8 per day. Thinking about how many people go to epcot every day I can only imagine what that waiting list looks like.
