Question Tipping on a Discounted Liveaboard Trip?

My friends and I are heading out next week on a liveaboard dive trip. We got a 50% off deal on the price of the voyage. We usually use the 10% of voyage cost formula for tipping. My question is, should we base our tip on the 50% price we paid, or the regular full price of the voyage?

I use full price to calculate tip and if service is good, then tip even more than usual because I did not have to pay full price.

I use the full fare. The crew is not doing half their normal effort to help you enjoy your trip. Normally the reduce rate is to help increase the number of customer on the charter to cover the operating cost of the boat.

tipping based on the full price is expected. i mean if you got the trip for free, would you show up and not tip at all?
