The first PADI Instructor Development Course at the Galapagos Tip Top Dive and Training Facility will start on April 18th. This is the first program taught by a 100% galapagan PADI Course Director and we are very excited about it said Jessica Pfeltz, manager of the PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center.
The April IDC in Galapagos also features a cutting edge MSDT program that includes sidemount courses. The program will also feature an open to the public EFR Instructor program; several non-diving travel industry participants will participate in the EFRI training. Towards the end of the course, a Tec Rec and Rebreather Orientation day will be offered.
All of the above are firsts ever in Galapagos and Ecuador. This demonstrates our commitment with developing the dive community in the region said Jorge A. Mahauad. The April IDC in Galapagos will be taught by PADI Course Directors Jorge A. Mahauad and Michel Guerrero at the Galapagos Tip Top Dive and Training Facility in Puerto Ayora.
Tip Top Diving was the first PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in Galapagos. The company is also a National Geographic Dive Center and was given the Tec Rec Center award in 2010. We offer courses from Open Water to Instructor including Trimix and Rebreathers, all gases and full rebreather and technical diving support. Our specialized trips and expeditions with live-aboard and land based operations allow unique, once in a life time travel opportunities to the Galapagos Islands said Mahauad.
