Hi,
Recently, I've noticed that my right ear rings when I'm in a very noisy restaurant or other environments. It doesn't happen very often 3-4 x/ year. The ringing lasts a few seconds. The last time I went down was a good 3 months so I wasn't even wet in the ears.

I've been diving consistently for 4 years now and noticed the ringing after a dive about 2 years ago. I did have a full audio medical exam afterwards and they didn't find anything. It does take me a bit longer to equalize the right ear than the left.

Anybody have any theories on this? Is it an inner ear problem. Should I be diving or should I just stay away from noisy restaurants and bars.

Thanks,

Beepbird
