Hello all;

Yesterday, my wife and I were exploring the world of fantastc values at our local Wally World. While walking through the store I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't been able to find a decent dive watch/computer backup. Just as I had finished the last word in the sentence, I literally bumped into a display featuring Timex Helix DM watches. About 20 in all. In the Greeting Card department. Go figure.

These look like they may have been "remanufactured" by the factory. They are probably watches returned to the manufacturer for repair and are now available for sale again. I also happened to notice that the cover of the manual has been torn off, probably warranty return information.

In any event, if you are looking for a Helix DM, check out your local Wally World again. They may have a few "remanufactured" watches available for sale.

Or, on the other hand, as a public service, PM me and let me know how many you want for $50.00 each, plus shipping.

That is a typical eBay price.

I bought one from Campmor. The Timex wrist band is small.

It was not long enough to make it around my wrist with my 7 MM wetsuit sleeve. Last notch with the 3MM sleeve. May fit a good number of women but could be a squeeze for men. You may have to invest a couple more bucks for a wrist band.

Haven't dove it yet. There is some posts on the board. Try a "Helix" or "Timex" keyword search.

I picked one up yesterday from ebay for $25
