Alright, it has been far to long since we did a dive at the Destin Jetties. Yes, I know it is a long walk....but let's man-up and do a dive there. Now that it is cooler, the walk to the jetties geared up is very bearable.

High tides are running at night...so, how about a night dive at the jetties? Next Saturday and Sunday night High Tide is 7:05 PM. Jetties are a great place to do night dives because the rocks give you a good point of reference. So, if any of you have been wanting a comfortable location to do a night dive....this is it!

So, how about it??? Anyone want to do something Saturday, November 22 or Sunday, November 23?

Double check the tides for me and make sure I have them right...I have been known to look at the wrong date! :D We can meet around 6 PM if you want to. The tables show a 7:05 PM high tide, but the tables have been off as much as two hours sometimes.

I am open for anything.

I think Saturday the 22nd would be just fine. What is the meet time?

The tides show 7:08PM Saturday, but the tide change from low to high is only 3 inches. I'd say we'll be just fine around that time. I'll plan on 6 PM meet at the Parking "Row" near the beach entrance.

Yeah, the range is pretty pitiful...hopefully we can have some decent viz. and we can get a few pictures. I have always been surprised that there are not more octupus that hang out in the rocks at the jetties. Especially considering the large number of rock crabs that hang out in the rocks. Maybe, we can find some octopus at night this time.

So, meet at the jetty parking area around 6PM. Anyone else want to do a night dive with us?
