I just don't log dives
So, I really want to do this dive with Tiger sharks. Been looking at the Bahamas, but not sure when to do this and with who? Any suggestions?

My personal choice would be Jim Abernethy Scuba Adventures....Jimmy is also the typical choice of National Geo Shooters, Discovery TV shooters, Ron and Valerie Taylor did trips with him, as has a who's who of famous shark videographers or photographers. He has a Live-aboard that picks you up in West Palm, and trips are generally close to a week long I believe. Few people you could ever meet in diving will be as enthusiastic and charismatic as Abernethy.
He also has a special relationship with the Tiger Shark "Emma", and you can see this in the movie he released recently, with Wyland and Guy Harvey....This is Your Ocean: Sharks See iTunes - Movies - This Is Your Ocean: Sharks
Jimmy's web site for his Bahama Trips is Our Bahamas Liveaboard Boat: M/V Shear Water :: Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures

I agree completely with Dan. Jim is THE GUY when it comes to diving with Tiger Sharks. I've been on 5 trips with him myself. You couldn't have a better captain and crew to give you incredible encounters -- with an equally incredible emphasis on safety.

That's a gotta be a long boat ride...
:)
Actually, you board on the evening, get your gear into your rooms as the boat takes off. They do some orientation and fun stuff in the first hour, then you go to sleep.
You wake up in the morning to a gourmet breakfast, you are tied up over a spectacular Bahamas dive site.

Are you talking about JASA?

Because Cove's does it from a dayboat. Judging from the picture on their site it's a fast RIB. I meant from the West End of GB to the Bank is a long ride.

Dive with Tiger Sharks and Lemon Sharks in a high-speed dive boat, based out of Old Bahama Bay Resort at West End.

Yes, I am talking about JASA :)
Sorry

Thanks all for the info. Next question is when is the right time of the year? Is it seasonal?

The Tigers are there all year....but summer and fall are usually nicer diving weather..With a Live-aboard, they can motor to the lee side of an isand for each night, so even on stormy days you can sleep well and find flat dive sites, but some winter trips will have roller coaster aspects to the crossings :)
