Kudos to princessaprilia for bringing the subject of the tick scourge to the forefront in scubaboard.com. princessaprilia related her particularly nasty encounter with those dangerous and unwanted pests in 'Non-Diving Related Stuff' (May 17, 2009).

Many thanks also to all who gave their expert advice regarding measures to deal with ticks. Tick-Time is once again initiating full-blown tick hatching and attacks, and it's again time to take special precautions for everyone's health by being aware of the dangers of ticks and how to combat them.

We can't forget that it's important to keep them off our pets, too. Don't suit up in or near any woods or grasses if you can help it.
