Wow, What a night! Just got back from a night dive at Back Beach. I dove with some friends from Massdiving. The weather was great. The temp was a little on the cool side which made wearing the thermals for my drysuit compfy before the dive. We went in right at sunset so had a litle light for the first few minutes. We just went out at 120* for half our tanks and returned at 300*. Saw a bunch of sea Ravens (yello, orange, and brown) plus quit a few keeper bugs (did'nt harvest at night!). The water temp was around 57* around the surface and it droped to about 49* at the thermocline. The vis close to shore was limited to less than 10' but it did clear up some as we got out a little. Only did one tank but it was a nice night out.
