Chris, don't waste your energy worrying about recommitment. Skip it. Just keep going. If you have a bad day, a bad week, a bad month, whatever - just move ahead. When you look back at the track, you aren't watching where you're going. It's done. It's in the past. All that you have the power to change is now and tomorrow. And guess what? Tomorrow, it'll be the same thing. Now and tomorrow. You've already made a commitment to yourself, so the hardest part is taken care of. Life just happens sometimes. Look at what you've already done for yourself and be very proud. You have more minus weeks than plus weeks. Slow and steady. Repeat with me "Slow and steady." Heck, you've already made it to MY target weight, so I'm jealous already :)

What happened when you realised that you had been bad? You probably stopped, right? What's wrong with that choice? You might feel bad for not making that choice sooner, but you eventually came to the right course of action. Just think of it this way - you took a 'rest day' (or two) from your nutritional training regimen. You have to take time to let your body recover from exercise, right? Well, you just did the same thing for your brain. That's it. Nothing to get down about :)

Sorry, Ive been slacking off, eating more, working out less. Im creeping back up to 219#. Guess I need to get back to work.

Thanks Frank, good advice....

Chris

Ditto everything Frank said. There's no good or bad, just better choices. You've come so far and have alot to be very proud of. IIRC, you've had quite a bit of 'life' thrown at you recently. You've been strong and comitted through it all so a few days of resting both your mind and body isn't a bad thing.

Your next meal choice is another start. Looking back is into history and can't be changed. Yesterday is over and tomorrow is another day!
