Normally, I agree with you. But when alleged misinformation pops up in a thread, it's not wholly unreasonable for people to set the story straight. In the end, accurate information helps buyers and sellers alike, and promotes efficient markets.
Also, a question was asked stemming specifically from the misinformation given (can I use delrin thumbwheels with doubles), so maybe your ire is better spent against those asking questions that are tangential to the thread, rather than those who try to be helpful by providing answers?
