Hi all

I am looking to replace the fiddly screw on the switch of a Halcyon Focus 2. I find it somewhat annoying to use with thick gloves on and would prefer a larger knob.

I'm based in Europe and have tried various metric thread sizes but cannot find one that works and also cannot find any info on what thread it could be.

So I'm wondering if anybody has figured out what screws to use (I suspect it's a US thread size that I'm not aware of).

Thanks
Jan

Almost positive they'd be using an imperial thread size, but I don't have a Focus handy. You're referring this thumbscrew correct?

If you can get a accurate measurement of the length of the metal part of the screw in millimeters, verify yours has 17 total threads as in the image above, and also a measurement of the diameter of the outside of the threads (mm are fine too), figuring out which imperial thread they are using would be quite simple.

Thanks Badger. That's the one I'm talking about.
Will see what I can figure out but if anybody has tried and figured it out, would still be hugely appreciated :)
