NO!!!! :wacko:

Just put a little bit of lube on the O-ring and screw the hose in hand tight then tighten a little bit with a wrench. Don't latch down on it too much.

You can always have your LDS do it for you..
 
It's the O-ring that provides a seal not how tight the fitting is and in my experience, just a bit more than hand tight is enough to ensure they do not come loose.

You do not under any circumstances want to introduce a thread locking compund into your regulator.

What do you lube the O-Ring with?
 
If you are not looking at using O2 mixes over 40%, you can use a standard silicone O-ring grease. It's a lot cheaper and available at almost any dive shop.
