Last Tuesday I dove in the Thousand Island area near Ivy Lea, Ontario for the first time and I was completely blown away.
My last dive was a dive they called the Hill Island drift. It started as a fast ride through a narrow channel at about 35 feet and then opens up along a wall that extends from the surface down to about 130 ft, I think.
I am still increasing my experience and comfort level so my max depth was 66 ft.
Drifting along the wall was a great learning tool for trying to maintain a consistent depth.
The water surface temp was 73 degrees and the temp at 66ft was 73 degrees.
Visibility I would guess was 30ft to 40ft.
I am considering doing my AOW just to be able to go dive there again really soon.
Thanks again ScubaBoard for all of your help.
