Hello all!

I will be relocating to the Pacific Northwest in the next few months, specifically to the Portland area. I am interested in commercial clam diving and wondering if anyone here might have any suggestions regarding really well made, sturdy 9mm wetsuits, clam diving, etc.

You'd be better off diving an open cell 5 or 7 mm freediving suit than a 9mm (never heard of one) closed cell scuba suit. They are far warmer and more difficult to put on and take off, which is why they are warmer. Must use lube.

Dry suit would probably be ideal in terms of temps, but doubt it would hold up to the rigors of bottom scratching working dives. Maybe a neoprene drysuit.
