Several people have ridden horses to school here, not a big deal. It wasn't a common thing though, usually there was some kind of trail ride or whatever planned after school.

That wouldn't have gone over well in St. Petersburg, FL where I went to school!

Okay, I wanna go to work by mule! That is just cool.
We had a big, bay mule once, his name was Thorny. He was very quiet and had little personality, until you asked him to do something he didn't wanna do. The mule stereotype was right in his case. He HATED getting his feet wet. Hated. He refused to walk in, around, or anywhere near water.

didn't you guys ever want to have a pony?

well... a mule is like a pony... only uglier, with a nastier temper

Oh, I beg to differ, Andy. Have you spent much time with little ponies? With very very few exceptions, they're very naughty. Belied by the fact that they are cute as buttons. The only vicious equine I ever met was a cute, hairy little Shetland pony. She was a killer, I tell you!

lol... no, i've never been around ponies and/or mules

was just trying (no jokes) to be funny
