Hi Everyone
I have an urgent question and need your expert advice. I am going to Aqaba, Jordan in 5 days where I'll be living for 18 months. I have a 5mm wetsuit (Scubapro Everflex) and various other basics and am now spending my Christmas money on bits and bobs that I might need. Anyway... I am wondering if the water might be a bit cold (approx. 20 Celsius) in the winter for my 5mm and if I should get an 'undersuit'.
1st question - Do you think the 5mm will be warm enough, bearing in mind that I am a bit of a wuss and am relatively cold-sensitive?
2nd question - I have found a "Thermocline Explorer" (Fourth Element) suit on a website, which is apparently equivalent to 2.5mm neoprene. It also has fleece lining. I seem to remember reading negative reviews about fleece lining in something like this suit but can't find that particular thread right now (limited time on internet
). Do you think this would be a good investment or a complete waste of funds???
3rd question - If you think the above suit is not worth it but think I'll be too cold, what would you suggest instead?
Thanks in advance for your time and advice...
Nic
