I bought the 4 disk Blue Planet set with 2 epsiodes per disk, plus extras. Its very nice to watch without any commercials. 
David Attenborough is a perfect narrator.
BBC/Discovery/Miramax also put together an hour and fifteen minute movie named "Deep Blue" from "The Blue Planet" footage. I keep hoping they will eventually release that on DVD on this side of the pond as well, right now its only available in the UK and its Region-2 encoded (UK and Japan). I've being watching these tonight as well. These are the best videos of their type that I've been. Regardless of where you live/dive one of these videos covers the sea creatures in your area.
I especially enjoyed the segments on Orcas, Sixgills, Octo's, and Squid as well as Nudibranches.

I've watched all of the episodes on Discovery so far and definitely concur with the comments. Amazing videos!!
