Thanks to DamselDoc for our new theme - Sponges! This one should be fun as sponges come in so many colours, shapes and sizes.

Be careful...make sure you're just posting sponges and not some tricksy other invertebrate - it's a good time to double check the IDs of all those shots of stuff you've been lumping together (if you're anything like me!)

whoaa, that's really a great picture, Fastmarc, the sponge seems to be fluorescing. where did you take it?
 
When you dive in Chile, you can be surprised with the wonderful colours. Is not the tropic, it's cold water a with less vis :cold:, but is amazing too.

It was taken on the north coast of Jamaica.
Trust me, it easily caught my eye. It stood out from far.

Don't know what kind of sponge that is, but we see them on Coz also. Pretty cool.
