Have not been using a camera too long (maybe midway through 2008) and it is just a point and shoot with no accessories but I ended up with a few I liked from this year (and hundreds of blurry ones) :)

My favourite fish, the puffer, at night:

Rudder Quadrant of a local wreck called the SS Coogee:

And my favourite one of me (cos it has a weedy in it too!)

Sarah, Nice portrait shot of the Weedy & you.
I thought that they had Leafy Dragons near you? I'd love to see one of those.

AndyT, That last one from your Oly 7070 is fantastic! Calendar material.

Hmm leafies are more common in South Australia. There is a spot in Victoria though, called Flinders and there has been a leafy spotted under the pier there. Only a few people have seen it. I tried looking for it once but no luck! I have been given better directions so hopefully next time I can see it for myself as I have always wanted to see one :) (well one that is not in an aquarium!)

Mark, Those are some of the most colorful Nudis I have ever seen! Do you have the name of the genus?

Incredible photos from all!

Andy what is that in your first pic (the thing with the "antlers")?

Viewed in black/dark brown these sponges off Little Cayman seem to be playing a New Year's tune, my favorite of 2008.

Fisheyeview, that is an awesome shot! I love behavioral photos.....it adds an extra dimension to still photos!

Come on guys, send them in! Topside shots too!

Thanks

Okay, here is a topside shot I like. I took this out at the Valley of Fire when we were out at DEMA. This is taken from inside a sandstone chimney looking up.
