Is there a site on the net with instructions on how to
use the PADI wheel?

If you can use the other tables, then the wheel is a snap. Don't sweat it. Just borrow one from someone and read the instructions. Also the knowledge workbook (cd version) has a section on the wheel that's pretty good.

R..

You know what they say about learning the Wheel, a novice takes an hour, a divemaster candidate a day, and an instructor a week... just kidding.

Ditto to what Diver0001 said.

Hrmmmmmmm.......... glad you think so, I find the whole thing a pain in the rear. I've spent many of nights trying to figure out the whole multi-level diving thing. Maybe I need a tutor.. lol..... :D

It might help to think of a multi-level dive as a series of single-level dives with no surface interval in between. If you can do multiple dives with the wheel, all you do for a multi-level dive is use the ending PG as the new starting PG, without adjusting for the surface interval.

PADI actually has a video out about using it (mine got borrowed :crafty: ) that explains it pretty well, once you get past the bad acting. You may get a loan from a PADI store if you talk real nice.

I love the wheel. There are lots of sample problems in the manual and it's not difficult to figure out at all. Of course, it's always best to have an instructor show you how to use it.

HI!

Where can I buy "The Wheel"? My local divecenter doesn't have it.
If they are PADI they will be able to get it soon enough. I usually get material ordered from PADI delivered overnight.
The wheel is a PADI thing and I am not aware of any other agency that has a similar product
