I'm scheduled to go out on The Spectre to Anacapa and posssibly Santa Cruz Island on Saturday, Feb. 25th.

I hear the conditions have been O.K. recently. Anybody have any recent reports? Anyone else going out next weekend?

Didn't know about the Mo2vation dive, but there are at least three of us diving the Spectre on that day...ZenDiver will be here from the ZenDiving board...he's from Houston, Jen (Sapphire from this board), and me (Taniwha). Will see you there. Look me up!

See you on Feb. 25. Our local dive shop in San Luis Obispo (SLO Ocean Currents) is selling spots for this trip, so there will be lots of central coast people...including an OW class. Ventura is about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from SLO, so those who booked through SLO Ocean Currents will most likely be coming down the night before.

Doug, I taught sixth grade for several years up to just a couple of weeks ago. I'm now a teacher-on-special assignment doing boring stuff like coordinating professional devlelopment, managing grants, I already miss those sixth graders, believe it or not!
