I'm jealous! Hopefully I will have lots of cool stuff to report when I'm back on 6/1 - we have 2-tank dives planned in Grand Cayman & Cozumel...

vacation??? what is that??? I don't get that thing here were I work at. Is it some new fangled employee benefit???

Just wait for the first 45 minutes at work AFTER vacation.

Yeah, I speak from very recent experience. ;)
 
Post vacation blues are the worst, knowing you are back at work until you can afford to have vacation time saved up again to go again. I know people at my workplace who used to live much further away than my family is (like far east, Indian sub-continent etc), who take many hours to fly there, and save up their vacation to have a whole month out of work - i just couldnt come back after that much time away!

As for filling in that time before leaving for vacation (i will have that this friday too), i either just give up and write up some sick time for the last hour or so and get home before the rush hour traffic or surf for that time. ;)
