A local scuba classified featured two vintage pieces of gear I haven't seen in a while.

The "Slobwinder" - A elongated wire that allowed someone who couldn't reach their tank valves to shut them off. Affectionately named after John "Jabba the" Crea by George Irving.

The "Bondage Wing" - An OMS bladder wing with rubber bungies that would help squeeze gas out of the wing as quickly as possible. Usually accompanied by three steel stages and double OMS 130 tanks.

I may buy these for nostalgia's sake!!!

Somebody was just asking about slob knobs here the other day.

What length is it? If memory serves, slobwinders come in "slob", "huge fat slob" and "n. florida cave instructor".

Perhaps one of the greatest quotes of all time from the old Tech Diver archives....
