Anyone remember the raising of the rubber ducky from the La Jolla Canyon a few years ago.

My Wife and I towed it back from the canyon wall with a two person Kayak it took about two hours to pull it back with Divers in tow also pushing Steve if your out there I would like to see if we can get some footage of that day I’m over at sport Chalet mission valley if you can get in touch with me.

I so remember that. I actually wrote a report for CDN, but it got raised and the story cancelled... :(

Sorry... i wasn't actually there the day it was raised. I do remember thinking I was incredibly narced when I first saw it!

Try asking around on divebums.com . I am sure somebody there knows someone who knows someone with what you are looking for!

I especially miss the "bandit" on the bow!!!

Too bad, I only have photos, no digital of it...

Hey Guys,
What is the Rubber Ducky ?

John

The Rubber Ducky was a motor boat that was sank at the shores to benifit the fish there. but it was sank with out permission of the right people. so it was ordered to be picked up because when you put something like that in the water without pemission its trash when you have permission its a reef. go figure. anyway five divers brought it up and my wife and I have a two person kayak we towed it in from the edge of the canyon.
