I just don't log dives
After removing a mooring from a Green Bay,Wisc. wreck had a chance to sit down and talk to one of the divers that worked on raising the mystery ship years back, with over two years of diving this wreck was raised and floated!and with no diving related injuries.
Its sad how it all ends but things were learned and laws passed to protect shipwrecks.
If you have DSL the video clip is long but worth the look as I pulled it out of my favorites list,if you have Dial up the other link is a page I found years back to read.

Wow! At nearly 30 minutes long.... it was much longer than I expected it to be.

But... I should say that it was very interesting, and I just couldn't shut it off!

Sad ending to a beautiful ship...I was able to go on the Mystery ship sometime in the late 70's, in Menominee. My dad would make a trip to Green Bay Wisc. several times a year and when I was with him I would always ask him to stop for a tour. He finally gave in and stopped one day for us to look at the ship.....sure am glad he did, I just wished I would have taken some pictures of it back then.

Hey cool Steve,
You got to tour her, That had to be some thing as she did lay in Michigan waters off Chambers Island when found.
I still like them whole on the bottom for a good reason to dive em!
