Hi all,

Just a quick post to let you know that we managed to dive on the japanese Battleship HIJMS Yamashiro sunk with her sistership the HIJMS Fuso in the Philippines.
People normally speak about the size or the beauty of a shipwreck. For me, amongst all the wrecks I explored in the last 20 years, the Yamashiro is clearly the most unfriendly wreck: extreme depth (195m on the bottom), ripping current, bad sea condition, total darkeness, extremely remote location, logistical nightmare, lack of recompression chamber, etc.

So please enjoy the trip report at www.cedricverdier.com/articles.html

... and don't even think about going there! :shakehead

Cheers

Interesting.....I will be there next year

Awesome - congrats
