I was fortunate enough to be invited on this trip from Capt JT to assist him as a safety diver, for a planned 390' dive on the Battleship Virginia. Unfortunately the currents were not acceptable for a uber deep dive after checking the site, so we made alternate plans. We headed for The Lancing which sits at 160' and was a new wreck dive for me, as well as my deepest dive to date.

We scootered from stem to stern and were treated to some ideal conditions on a wreck that is known to be a tough one to hit because of location to the gulf stream and the strong currents it carries. We had 50'+ of vis and temps were nice and warm at 80 degrees on the surface and 75 on the bottom.
