OK, I'll bite -- WHY do you want to dive badly?

Doc -- While I think I understand the "zen of diving" (why else does my sac rate go down the farther I get into a cave?) -- but why does this make you want to stay with GUE? I know there are some VERY good instructors who can help one (or at least me) learn the ZEN and some are not (at least anymore) with GUE.

My guess is that with GUE one knows that they will get an instructor of the highest calibre. With the others it's a crapshoot.

Cool, I have no doubt that there are other good instructors out there and if you found something or someone that you find good and it's working for you, then cool! I'm happy for you and that you're having similar experiences diving!
