Thanks for all the input. I am primarily interested in the quality of materials and construction, functionality and duribility of the wing - aircell itself. Their backplate is not suitable for doubles, an option that I want to keep open and their custom sized harness may not allow as much adaptability as a std. 1 piece harness. After I figure out exactly how I would want a dedicated single tank rig set up then their complete pkg. looks like a real deal. With the replies I got here, and a couple of PM's, I'll probably get their wing to get started. I've already got FredT's info. to get a BP w/ harness and hdw. Thanks again, and I'm looking foreward to checking out the whole BP/W thing.

I am seriously considering the Jet Harness but was wondering about the adjustability of it. Since it is custom sized and there appears to be minimal adjustment points does it allow to go from skinsuit to say a double layer of 7mm wetsuit? Thanks in advance for any info.

The Jet harness can be adjusted in two places, the chest strap (quick and easy), and there is a tri-glide at the bottom of the BP where the shoulder strap meets the waist strap that can be adjusted. The 2nd option usually requires pliers since the strap is so heavy duty it's hard to feed through the tri-glide with just your fingers.

I would say the Jet harness could accommodate the scenario you suggested above fairly easily, but I've only dove with a 3mm wetsuit so far.

Edit: Btw, you could probably accommodate between 3 & 7 mm wetsuit without adjusting the webbing just by changing the chest strap.

On the jetharness.com website there is a FAQ page where this question is addressed. They say it can be adjusted some. I'm sure if you contacted them directly they could fill you in completely.

I'll go along with that beir. Go Redbirds too, I was at their game last night when you posted. They came back in an 8th inning rally to beat the Salt Lake Stingers. COOL! Now enough of that, back to SCUBA.

Extreme's contact information - including their phone number and email address, is at http://www.extreme-exposure.com/contact.shtml. They're great guys there, and will go to greath lengths to help you and help get you into a class.

This website does not work for me, and I'd like to eventually take this course (am probably not experienced enough, yet).

I've accessed all pages of the Jet Harness website numerous times over the last few days with no problems using IE 6.0. Sorry, no help from me.
