The Haunted Grotto

Hey folks!

Scuba West is doing the Haunted Hudson Grotto on Saturday, October 31st. There will be a pumpkin carving contest at the 20 foot-platform, and a spooky scary graveyard at the forty-foot! Prizes are to be given, and there is a cookout planned!

Cost is just $10 if your pre-pay, or $15 if you pay on the day of the event.

Quick update!

There will be prizes given out during the day, and a custume judging for kids!

Great VIS today at the Grotto!

We did a Halloween Night Dive in the Grotto, it was freaking great!

About 18 or so people participated, and a good time was had by all.

Oh, we took trick-or-treat pumpkin buckets, and dropped a glow-stick into them. We then positioned them around the Grotto walls, the effect was pretty neat! You could see the glowing pumpkins when you covered yer light!

On the twenty foot platform, you could look up and see the full moon (almost a full moon), and the stars above. . . Keep this in mind for next year, it really was a blast.
