Location
Malibu, CA is where I spend most of my dive time.
# of dives
I just don't log dives
(To date, anyway)

The place: Santa Cruz
The boat: The Peace
Why it was so good:

A school, that's right, SCHOOL, of Giant Black Sea Bass. I counted 17, just mindblowing. They were mostly 4 and 5 footers, with two Big Daddies, (or Mommas), kissing 7 feet. The one time I got close, one of them took off, and you could hear them swimming! Like a big kettle drum. One flex of that tail and BOOM!

Check it out!

It's the island of Santa Cruz, and it was Saturday.

Fantastic......seeing that number of BSB must be pretty impressive. I get really excited if I see one or two. It seems the sightings are on the increase around Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa islands. Great pics
Thanks

Very Cool!!!!! The most I've seen at once is 5, and I thought THAT was a lot! But 17!?!?

And nice shots of one of the hardest (IMO) local fish to get a good pic of
