After the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in 2001, government agencies wanted to build a database of all people trained as scuba divers, drivers of large trucks, and others
with similar kinds of skills that could be used in future terrorist attacks. The FBI asked a large diving business for its customer database. What do you guys think about this? :11:

Yah, but watch out for that "news source", they're notorious plagiarists & got into hot water for spamming; all their contact info was bogus.
That's one website that I won't visit, as I don't want to give them any "page counts" to use in their "advertising program".

Would that not be profiling and anathema to ACLU and other pinhead types?

Of course, it's only baaaaaaad if it factors in ethnic origin, eh?

'Sides, one should only suspect scoober divers that have no interest in ascending,
controlling their bouyancy, clearing their mask, etc.

Eh.. bugger em.. they already have a phile on me anyway since I said the magic words of "I do solemly swear..." -- I really don't care what they do to tracking me, keepin notes, or whatever turns some blacksuit on since all I do is work, dive, volunteer for things, and take care of my family. :)

Old news though...

I would only be worried if I had something to hide........which I don't. Personally I think they should be allowd to do whatever it takes to find terrorists.

It seems like CDNN.info is very biased, and never have anything positive to report.
