Not for air travel, but I'm hoping to get out to Catalina Island often with everything stuffed in my California Diving Company Dive Box! I knew that they had optional pneumatic wheels (for beach and general off-road) but I couldn't find any pics to see how they did it. So I made a trip to visit their shop in Santa Clarita, CA and bought the floor model ($259) and a set of "nubby" inflatable tires ($50). They use a longer axle, keep the original hard wheels attached, and add the new tires. 'Can't fit my big steel tank in the holder without removing the boot, but that's okay. Here's what it looks like packed with almost everything including a tank:

Doubles as a great ice chest too!

Nice setup, love the fins as well.

YEP! 'Havn't even used the fins on a real dive yet, but I know that they will save me! I lost a new Twin-Jet at the beach because I couldn't get it on and tight in the water, even with buddy's help. I'm more flexible now, but even a spring strap might be a problem for me if I can't reach my own feet, so looking forward to using the Amphibians soon! Dive Box should be a great help too...no more long mule rides up and down the beach! Guess who's the mule?
