I just saw the color one a couple of weeks ago and
it was a pre-release type deal. It was just a little
nicer with the full-color.

Don't feel bad, I have the grey-scale too.
( the content is the same AFAIK )

New? I got mine at least 6 months ago, its in color. Brownie's has them in color.

mine's so old that it is printed on 8.5X11 paper and bound in a theme binder... and there are no pictures... just little boxes scattered around that say such~n~such a picture goes here.

The new printing has all the colors in the
pictures in the book. Not just the front
and back cover.

If you check your book I think you'll see the
pics are not true color.

It's definately very new.
