I bought my wife a new digital camera for Christmas. I did not come with a memory card but says it can use CompactFlash Type I or Type II. So what is the difference? Anyone have preferences on brands?

I think it is speed. I know that II's are faster than I's. But not sure if there is anything else different. It is the same pin configuration etc.
