Any one ever dive the cemetary. Its in Cape Ann more specifically Lainesville, you park in the back of a cemetary and walk down a dirt path, and you come out onto this awesome flat rock beach. Also called Flat Rocks or something like it, by the locals.

Thanks looking for depth and other info, bottom, vis, dare i say lobsters

Thanks,
Russ

Been there a couple of times, but Parking seems to be the issue. I have seen the police there checking to see if anyone is parked illegally. They said that parking is for the cemetary only. If your looking to dive lanesville there is a parking spot down the road more that is legal, but be forewarned the Lobstermen don't take kindly to divers. There was a thread about lanes cove floating around somewhere. Doesn't seem like that area is worth the trouble when there are so many other spots to dive legally or trouble free.

yeah, I agree with Sid - I've been there a few times and have gotten several tickets. They seem to be cracking down more and more these days. You could drop off stuff there and bring a bike and park down at the curve by the 2 restaurants and hoof it or bike back...???

Plus you start to feel bad when the people give you nasty looks when you are driving in and out and parking and they are visiting the cemetary (and they probably call the police - hence the increased parking issues...?)
