In my area, fall is king! The water temps are still up, but the air temps are down, so we can wear our drysuits with undies on the surface without roasting and sweating up the inside of the suits.

The crowds are down, so parking is easy and there is very little boat traffic to deal with.

And in my area, Fall often brings the best vis of the year. :D

All around the waters we dive, fall colors are heart-stoppingly beautiful.

We know that icy water temps and snowy days will soon be upon us, and that makes the fall diving all the more sweet.

I love fall diving.

Well, I'm one of those lucky-buggers in Florida, and I'll continue to dive until I can take the hood off in the springs again, but I can appreciate your view! Now if only we had those leaves that actually turned, the pine needles going from green to brown don't do much for me!

'do it easy' has got it right.

I agree Rick, we have a good weekend going here, started Thursday night. :)

The wild card for us is hurricane activity but right now life is good.:jump013:

How's the viz now Rick? Allen and I have been exhanging e-mails about some diving in early October. I was out last night and we were all saying how nice it was that we could leisurely get in the water without poaching. I love it and the algae is finally dying so the viz was ok. Actually the viz sucked, but... it is getting better. Only problem is that the after work week day dives now conclude in the dark and our local mud hole is in the mountains. It was effin' freezing getting undressed last night. I come home and my wife razzes me for sitting on the couch with hooded sweat shirt, hoodie, and a big blanket. burr.

I am pretty sure that I am heading that way in a couple of weeks. Save some good diving for me!
