My wife has been hinting about an underwater camera for her upcoming birthday. After talking to some non-photographers at a couple of LDS, I turned to the most knowledgeable place I could think of -- the Scuba Board. The posts and links to pics under this topic have been incredibly helpful, and I want to thank all of you!
The end result?
I found a very slightly used MX10 at a LDS for a very reasonable price. Even once I add on the 20 mm wide-angle and the fiber optic for the strobe, I will be into it for far less than most of the systems I've seen. This will serve as a reasonable entry point for me (budget-wise) and should enable some great picture taking for her (based on the photos I've seen).
