We do to the weekend of 19/20. I went from real excited............. to watching the hurricane rip right across the dive sites we like to frequent.......... and now feeling very sad about the trip.

Hurricanes are awesome....they change the wrecks so that it becomes a whole new exploration experience.

I recently dove the Mahi wreck in Hawaii, which was originally upright. Not long ago, a Typhoon rotated the entire thing, it broke in half, the bridge collapsed, and the bow section came to rest at a 45 degree angle from the horizontal, while the stern remained upright. It will be interesting to see if any of the NC wrecks are dramatically affected. On the other hand... this aint their first hurricane.

Irene spun and moved the Spar 200+ ft. That takes a hellova lot of force to move that big a ship. Gotta respect mother nature!!

Any condition reports from the weekend???
