Just a little note to let you guys know that I made it back to P'tucky in one piece this afternoon. Thanks again to Steve-O and "The Boss" for letting me crash at your place. And thanks to DiveMistress and OTE for letting me back on the boat after forgetting my wallet on shore for not being able to pay my "JST." It was great to meet everyone and finally dive the Tiller :)

See everyone in Brockville over September long weekend.

AH Frank buddy we love ya.

I hope you "felt the love" of the best darn Scuba Club in the province! Believe it or not, that's our average weekend, as much as you think we did it just for you!! I can't always attend, but they do that regularly.

I'll send the buddyman's artistic (Or is it autistic) rendition as soon as he's finished.

One small thing, Jon isn't Divedude (I know you know that, it was just a slip of the fingers) He's OTE.

I learned lots of "scuba-stuff", from just talking to you, as I knew I would.
In the water, our ascent was textbook too.......what a team :-) We had some serious ZEN going on, and I couldn't wait to break the surface to say it.

It was super to have you up for a few days. The only problem was it went way too quick.

Try to make it through this week as best you can, because you know what the weekend is bringing!!

Good luck bud!

Steve

P.S.> I got that phone working for my mom tonight :-)

P.P.S.> See ya this weekend on the Tiller, Leftwinger27.

Hey there Frank,

We had a great time with you this weekend. Hopefully us Canadians didn't scare you off too much and just maybe you'll grace us with your presence again some time soon....just don't forget about that JST.....LOL

As for Steve's comment of your textbook ascent and team diving - I take it that you were filling your wing and popping to the surface? LOL. I had the O2 ready and waiting - just kidding....LOL

Are you joining our dive club now? (Woohoo, 1 Americun is now converted!) Or did you just happen to plan a trip on the same long weekend as us to the same area?

It was indeed a pleasure to make your aquaintance this weekend. Steve often spoke of you, so we were looking forward to your visit. We were not disappointed. The weather was our friend as was the water. Unfortunately, I didn't have the privilidge of decending with you, but maybe the next time.
See you in Brockville, and have some great diving in the meantime.

Lefty, it was great to meet you and dive with you. Your comfort in the water is very cool and I'd dive with you anytime. If you make it into Warren when you guys dive Barcelona, I'd recommend a place called "The Cornerstone" - they have these wings called "Old Dad's" and they are awesome. Not really hot wings, per se, but lots of herbs and pepper and flavor. Way yummy. I made back to P'Tucky in record time, but as usual, I picked the slow line at the border. Diving road trips are always better with company :)

Steve, DOH - I got Divedude and OTE mixed up... I hate it when I do that (I went back and fixed the first post). I'll post buddyman's artwork on the artwork page of my website when I get it. Wifey laughed when I told her about it. We'll have the Shoofly Pie and S.O.S. mix for ya' when we go to Brockville. Thanks for the kind words. Everything is set for Thursday morning, so we'll still be able to leave Friday morning for class. Jen volunteered our house for the luncheon, so I have a lot of cleaning to do in the next couple of days :) (plus pack for class, fill tanks, tune regs...)

DiveMistress, if the rednecks here don't scare me (well, they don't anymore, but that required lots of therapy), nobody can put the fear of anything in me :) You can be sure that I'll be back, the Tiller owes me another dive (or five). I believe that the ascent that Steve mentioned was later in the day. While our ascent from the Tiller was anything but Zen-like, it certainly could have been far more pebbled (Steve will explain if he can remember). If you guys accept me as a non-resident alien member of your dive club, I'd be honored. As far as Brockville goes, this will be our (Wifey and Me) 5th trip up there over the long weekend holiday. It's a great place and the wrecks are awesome. Probably my favorite place to dive in the whole world (well, as much of it as I've been to).

Oh they were there, lurking in the shadows :-)

They set their hooch's up in my back yard.

Yes Divemistress, it was on the later dive. Sure it's a shallow one, but it's like we were on the same slow elevator to the surface. Not 6" depth difference the whole way up :-)

Previous to that, though, I did ride him like a pony, and screwed up his bag deployment :-( Ooooops.

Leftwinger27 took us to places I've never seen before. I forgot to ask you, did you always know where you were? I will say, too, that I'm entirely impressed with L/W's diving skills!

Well, Scuba Punk, the feeling is mutual, I'd dive with you anytime as well. And thanks for your contribution to my cannister light. It's definatly appreciated. I was hoping you had a 3"dia piece of 7075 aluminum about 4 1/2" long in that box of yours, but I didnt see one so I didnt ask. hehe

And Steve, its amazing how someone glancing at their compass and moving the bezel around can give the impression that they know where their going eh? Actualy, I did, (kinda) I like to stay away from the "usual sights" in that quarry. They get all silted up on the weekends. lol I heard about that big stump the weekend before, but wasnt able to find it.

Have a good one
Jay
