Thai Sumatra Dive Trip
Looking for 4 to 5 persons (preferably experienced divers with own equipment) to share in the cost of food and fuel for a trip from Thailand to N.Sumatra. We will depart from Kuraburi, Phang Nga, and dive Richelieu, Surin, Tachai, Bon, Similans before heading to Phuket. In Phuket we will spend a day clearing the boat and immigration before departing for Hin Daeng/Muang and then across the Malacca Straits to Pulau Weh, Sumatra, Indonesia. After diving at Weh and vicinity we will then cruise down the coast of Ache, Sumatra ending the trip at Simeulue Island, Sumatra, Indo.

Our boat will then remain at Simeulue for 6 months surfing and diving before returning to Thailand. From Simeulue it is convenient and affordable to get to Medan.

From Medan there are daily flights and ferries to Singapore, Penang and Kl.
The trip will leave from Kuraburi (btwn Takua Pa and Ranong on the Andaman Sea side of Thai) around end of March/beginning April. It is our intention to do our crossing before the SW monsoon begins to blow. The trip will be a flexible 10-14 days. We are very interested in diving along the coast of NW.Sumatra and at Simeulue Island. Interested persons will need to have an Indo visa (30 days for 25usd) before Mid February so that we can send boat and passenger documents to the Indo government. Estimated cost per person is 825usd. Price includes food, lodging. We have a Mariner compressor, 15 cylinders, and Emergency O2 on board.
