I have just started using a TG-6 in an Ikelite housing with a W-20 wide angle lens.

Question 1: The W-20 has a 67mm thread that screws onto the Ikelite housing and forms a very good seal (no water intrusion), but the lens is supposed to be a wet lens. What am I missing if I don't flood the cavity between the lens and camera?

Question 2: I also have a couple 67mm diopters. Will they give me any advantage if I'm trying super-macro video/stills, or should i just rely upon the TG-6?

Many thanks!!

Best option would be to run some tests in your bath tub. You will remember if you do your own testing as opposed to just reading someone else.

Water between the lenses is required for them to function properly. Just burp them on your way down to the dive site.
