Anyone out there been to Mammoth Lake yet.Our dive club has a trip planned
there for late June.Wanted to see if the board has any info to share.

Trip yesterday.
$20 cash admission- NO Credit cards
20+ pavillions, shaded, with ramps to to the lake
Lots of wrecks C131, and other boats object on the bottom
Max depth was around 40 feet, water temp 74 at the surface and maybe upper 60's below.
Lines between objects make it easy to find object plus they have engraved tags indicating the point of interest.
Viz- 10-15 at the surface, but Texas conditions prevailed, 3-10 feet everywhere else.

We've been looking at making the trip here this summer, is it worth it?

We went a couple of weeks ago and its off our list of places to visit for quite some time. Just too many little annoyances like the Vis, the overgrowth around the ramps and such to make it enjoyable for us. Not to mention the high price of admission vs the vis..
