Jason ~ absurd indeed! Missed your wit and irony (like who else wears a DRYSUIT and a REBREATHER on Bonaire???) recently. Where you been hiding?

Regarding gloves, they are only allowed for the following: medical conditions (such as skin conditions on hands) and for persons with disabilities. (We had an amputee diver stay with us once and requested to use gloves on entry and exit). All you have to do is contact STINAPA, provide medical documentation and they will give you a permit to use gloves. You can also ask at your dive shop, and I'm sure they can help you arrange a permit if you need one. We kept the original of the permit and provided the diver a copy to keep in the glove box, incase park rangers questioned him. Worked out fine.

Dive from shoreline is a LONG WAY to get out there, I'd rather conserve my air for the 90-100' dive at the wreck itself. Why burn all that gas on the way out and limit your time on the wreck you are there to dive? We did make our way back up the reef and to shore underwater, it is a very nice reef. We even navigated fairly close to our truck.

I can buy that. On deep dives I run out of table before low air becomes an issue. But, it wasn't always so. Cheers!!!

Hmmm, let's see....some things are more important in life then diving. :D
