Hi guys

My wife and I are going to the Maldives next April and we are looking at learning to dive before we go, although my wife is leaning more towards snorkelling when we get there at this stage as she's more of a sun worshipper than me . I have been looking at an aray of masks on the internet, some have tempered glass lenses and others have polycarbonate but which one is the best or does this depend on whether you're using it for diving or snorkeling? :idk:

thanks guys

Tempered Glass is stronger, more scratch resistant, and easier to clean. Polycarbonate is unbreakable and less expensive. I've never heard of a mask breaking on someone's face, so to me, the tempered glass is the way to go.

My reading glasses are made of glass, too.

I'll take tempered glass any day. Won't even consider polycarbonate.
